Title: Going Home ( Kaeritai...)
Opening Theme: Itooshii Hito no Tame ni
Ending Theme: Tokimeki no Doukasen
Taiitsukun then takes Hotohori, Nuriko, Tamahome, and Miaka to her palace atop Mt. Taikyoku where her assistants, the Nyan-Nyans, four identical young girls, patch up Hotohori's wounds and the other's as well. As they heal Miaka's wounds, Taiitsukun states that Miaka doesn't have enough power to go home because of the loss of her blood caused by the evil-Miaka, so Tamahome and Hotohori offer to give her some of their blood, even though it means their powers will be cut in half.
When the transfusion of the blood is done, Taiitsukun notes that with only three Suzaku warriors, the processing of sending Miaka home in the real world will be difficult, but they are all determined to help Miaka. Miaka has trouble concentrating out of concern for the others, but then she hears Yui calling out to her and telling her to go home.
Remembering her friendship with Yui and their years together and all the memories, Miaka is enveloped in the red light of Suzaku. As she is transported home, a comet-like ray of blue light passes her going back towards the book world, (which was when Yui was pulled inside the book. The light was blue because she would become the Priestess of Seiryuu) Miaka then wakes up on the floor of the library with the book beside he but Yui is not in the library. Miaka calls out and yells for her, but the library is closing, so Miaka returns The Universe of the Four Gods to its shelf and leaves the library.
She runs into two of their classmates, Moriin and Fuu. Thrilled to be reunited after so long, Moriin and Fuu said that it had only been two hours since she and Yui had left them to go to the library. Concerned and worried about Yui, she wonders if she went home and calls into Yui's house.
