This prequel to Fushigi Yuugi: Byakko Senki was published in the magazine Monthly Flowers on February 28. The story revolves around a foreign spellcaster named Nirusha, who turns out to be the much younger and kinder Miboshi of the Seiryuu Warriors. The narrative follows him and his young friend Reipin, whom he renames Neiran, as he attempts to help against her tragic destiny.
In this story, the members of the Cho Family are viewed from an unlikely perspective. Covering both before and after Korin’s death, this story delves into the family’s dynamic and the start of Nuriko’s journey to accept his role as a warrior.
