Tama is the pet cat of Mitsukake and companion to the Celestial Warriors of Suzaku.

Tama was named after Tamahome because Miaka thought it would be cute and also because of his various nick-names: Tama-baby, Tama-homeboy, Tama-kun, Tama-chan, Tama-kins.
Story[]
Tama is reincarnated among with Mitsukake and the rest of the Suzaku Seven (exception: Chichiri and Tasuki) in the third OVA.
