Toka Seeds are seeds that can be used to track a target. They are used by Souren and Uruki in Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden.
Background[]
Toka seeds originated in Sairou as a pain reliever but are known for its distinctive scent. It is thought that the use of these seeds between two people can strengthen their bond.
Story[]
Not wanting Uruki to follow after him and have Kutou capture him, Souren has Takiko swallow the seed, tricking the soldiers that it was medicine for her. The moment Takiko swallowed the seed, the bond between Souren and Uruki broke, and unknowingly, Uruki followed after the scent, hoping to find Souren, only to find Takiko instead.
