Hello everyone! I hope the FY wiki has been satisfactory thus far. For an anime/manga so centered around the past, I want to talk a bit about the future. To start off, there are a lot of attributes of this wiki that I adore. To name a few: our dedication has remained strong over decades, the information is extensive, and we are relatively ontop of manga updates (thank you to the users who translate/have access to the newest additions to the FY series). That being said, times are changing and in order to remain relevant, we must adjust! I have a few ideas to really spruce up the wiki:
1. Theme Change: got an idea for a different color scheme/background that you think works for FY? Message me with the HEX codes and/or image and we will make a poll out of your ideas!
2. Media Outreach: have a social media platform you want to promote FY on? Copy the link to the homepage, make a post, and reach out to fellow fans to discuss, inform, and share all there is to this amazing wiki! If you want to promote your fanfiction, go to Fushigi Yuugi: Original Characters Wiki and join for free!
3. Trial Period: in the near future I will be testing out some interesting and helpful features I have observed on other wikis. These changes will not be huge, rather, we could be looking at aesthetic changes and style manuals to simply explain how to enable various options. A trial period will commence where you should all feel free to write to me how you feel about the new features (message or in the comments below). Depending on your answers, I will either keep or change the edits. We are a community and I want to make sure we are all comfortable using this fantastic platform!
Lastly, none of these changes will be possible without your input. With a laundry list of tasks to complete, I have planned to adopt this wiki. I want to build on this space for my favorite anime/manga and I hope you will all continue to be the best contributors/admins/fans you can be!
